Momindum Studio is free. You can use the software for free, and publish your presentation using the Standard publication or Advanced publication.
1.2. Do I need to pay for a license to use Momindum Studio?
There's no license fee for using Momindum Studio. Software is free. You can publish a Standard presentation for free; you only pay if you want to publish an Advanced presentation.

No, you can download and use it for free without creating an account.
1.4. Is Momindum Studio available for servers/multiple workstations?
Momindum Studio is free. There's no need to buy a license for each workstation. You can use Momindum Studio for creating presentations on as many workstations as you want, and publish on a specific workstation from which you bought credit.
1.5. What are the required configurations in order to use the software?
The system requirements for Momindum Studio Standard Edition is:
- 512 Mo of RAM (1024 Mo of RAM recommended).
- Processor Pentium III or equivalent (Processor superior to Pentium IV or equivalent recommended).
- Minimal resolution of 1024 * 768 pixels.
- Minimum operating system Windows XP SP1.
- Windows Media Players ( already configured at least one time)

2.1. What are your formulas? Are they subscriptions?
In our formulas, we sell you credit that you use to produce advanced presentations. This credit
is the maximum length of video you can produce.
Ie: if you use a 10h plan, you can use these 10 hours to produce as many presentations as you
want. The maximum total length of presentations must be 10 hours.
2.2. What's the difference between Standard publishing and Advanced publishing?
Standard publishing is free. It includes basic functions: synchronization of video and documents and navigation by the outline. Advanced publishing includes a customizable interface, and access to advanced functions such as access to the content by keywords or by annex documents. Advanced publishing is charged according to our pricing policy.
2.3. If my video is 1 hour long, how much do I need to pay to publish in Advanced publishing?
Our smallest formula is 2h pack. If your presentation is shorter, you should buy the 2h pack, and you can use the remaining credit to publish another presentation.
2.4. Are formulas long term contracts?
Formulas are not long term contracts. Our formulas are not subscriptions. Our formulas are single products.
2.5. Can I combine several formulas?
Yes, you can. If you buy a 2h formula and then a 5h formula, you have 7h of credit.
2.6. What's the difference between the 2h formula and the 100h formula?
The difference is only the number of hours of credit.
A time credit is the maximum length of video you can produce advanced presentations. It is what you buy when you take a formula and use to publish your presentations with advanced components.
3.2. How to buy or reload my credit time?
First of all, you have to create an account on our web site for buying some credit time, so that we have all the necessary elements during the invoicing. Next you have to choose the formula that you want and your payment mode: by transfer payment or by Paypal. You will obtain an activation code, valid only on the computer where you have picked up the serial number of the Momindum Studio software.
3.3. Is there any time limit for using my credit?
No, you can use your credit whenever you want.
3.4. Can I use my credit on any computer?
You need to use your credit on one computer only.
3.5. Can several people use the same credit?
You must use the credit on the same computer, but several people can use it on the same computer.
3.6. What is going to happen if my video exceeds my current credit time?
You cannot publish in the advanced mode and you should purchase the supplementary credit time.
3.7. What should I do if I change my computer? Have I lost all my credit time?
Indeed, your credit time will be lost, because it is associated to only one computer.
3.8. If the computer on which there is some credit time have to be immobilized for reparation, can I continue temporarily to publish on an other computer waiting that my main computer come back?
The credit time is associated to only one computer, so it is not possible.
4.1. What payment options can be used?
We offer payment by credit card or by money wire.
4.2. How long does it take to receive my credit code?
It depends of your payment option.
- If you paid by credit card, you'll instantly receive your credit code by email after the
payment. It's the fastest way to receive your credit code.
- If you paid by money wire, you'll receive your credit code by email as soon as the payment
is validated by our finance services. It can take several days, due to the delay of execution
of money wires by banks.
4.3. Can I buy credit offline?
Credit for Momindum Studio is only available through www.Momindum.com.
5.1. I cannot import my video... Why?
May be you have not the right codec or your video use an unknown format. Check carefully the format of your video if it is in wmv or in avi.
5.2. What media format should I use?
We advice you to use the wmv format for the videos and wma for your audio files.
5.3. If my video or my audio file is not at the right format, what should I do?
You can use a media converter. If you do not have anyone, we advice you to go to this web site. It is entirely free and online: http://media-convert.com/convertir/
5.4. I succeed to import a video with another format. But during the publication my video does not work. Should I redo everything since the beginning?
No, you just have to convert your video and import it during the publication and you will not have to redo all your works on the timeline.
5.5. If I have published a video with another format by using an advanced publication, should I repay to publish it to the right format?
A publication concerns only one video. Therefore, if you change video, you have to do a new publication for the new video. However, if you use a converter, your video will be unchanged, you will not have to repay.
6.1. If I have not any PowerPoint, can I still do a presentation? So what will be the displayed documents?
When you work on a PowerPoint or another document like pdf for example, you have to choose "synchronize as a display document" or "synchronize as an annex document"
6.2. What kind of documents can I import in my project?
In addition to your video or your audio file, you can import your PowerPoint slides, PDF documents, flash animations, flashpaper documents and web pages.
6.3. I cannot watch my flash file or my PDF file that I have imported, what should I do?
Check that you have the right plug-in installed. If it is not the case, go take them on these websites: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html for PDF and http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer for flash.
6.4. If I send my project to someone so that he can work on it, should I send all concerned documents?
You do not have to send all the documents and files of the project. You just have to send the video along with the file myproject.mom

No, you can publish presentations without internet connection, so you can work on your presentation wherever you are (plane, train, car, motel, etc...).
7.4. I have published my presentation and I forgot several documents. Do I need to pay again to publish my updated presentation?
No, there's no need to pay again. A presentation can be published as many times as you want as long as it uses the same video or audio file.
7.5. If I published my presentation on a CD-Rom, do I need to pay again in order to publish it over the internet?
No, there's no need to pay again. A presentation can be published using all publishing options (Internet, CD-Rom, SCORM, etc...) without paying again.
7.6. Once publish, someone can use Momindum Studio to modify my presentation?
It is mandatory that this person use the same computer used during the publication to modify the presentation.
7.7. What should be done to have a custom-built model to the color of our graphic charter?

7.8. Have I the rights to extract the video or all other document of a presentation realized by Momindum Studio?
If the author gives you the rights, you can pick up the video or audio files, the annex documents and the displayed document. All the other things are the property of Momindum and are not retrievable in any case.
7.9. After publication, should we pay royalties?
For a personal use, once the presentation publishes on CD, DVD, over the intranet or internet, nobody will ask you royalties.
For a commercial use, if you want to sell back the presentation generated by Momindum Studio, you should contact us as it is indicate in the software charter.
7.10. After an advanced publication over the internet, can we get back the credit time used, once the publication over the internet finished?
It’s impossible to get back your credit time. Once publish in advanced, a presentation could be used, modified or broadcasted as many times as you want.
8.1. How can I host my video without streaming server?
Thanks to a web server with PHP page, you can simulate a streaming server to host your video. Thus you can watch nay part of your video without to have to entirely download it.
8.2. Why should we use a streaming server instead of the solution referred previously?
A streaming server is optimized to solve the load testing problem. A web server with PHP page can easily be overloaded when there are too much simultaneous connections. The streaming server allows a more important number of simultaneous connections. So the video is optimized for the different flux variations.
8.3. I have never used a streaming server, how does it work?

Who ever hasn't wanted to cross parties of a speech? Momindum Studio allows to create presentations rich media and uses the deep tagging to share them.
